Trained as a clinical nurse, Karine Charbonneau began her career in paediatrics at Hôpital Sainte-Justine, where she refined her observational skills, gentle technique and communication adapted to the most vulnerable patients.

Expertise in dry eye care

This experience naturally led her towards precision care: Karine went on to specialize in a dry eye clinic, where she supports patients with meibomian gland dysfunction, blepharitis or chronic ocular surface symptoms. She now brings this expertise to the CARE MD team for care around the eyes.
